Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to bring?

We have everything from soup to nuts. You need to bring yourself, relax and enjoy paradise!

As for clothing bring beachwear, bring something to lounge in, bring something to go out on the town in, and bring something warm as well (appropriate for the season) in case you get a chill after being in the sun, or want to walk on the beach at night.

Don’t worry about other stuff like beach towels and [insert whatever you are thinking], as we are a retreat that has been handling guests for a very long time. We’ve got you covered!

What is the kitchen like? What do we do about meals, food and supplies?

We have a fully stocked kitchen, with all the modern appliances you could need, quality cookware, and all the utensils as well–all the things most cooks have at home. We also have a gorgeous outside BBQ, with a second sink area and dishwasher.

We have a Food and Beverage Plan, which is reasonably priced at $25 per person, per day that includes all the food that you could want to prepare or eat. If you don’t want to cook, a meal will certainly be prepared for you. If we run out of something we get it in the morning. No worries! If you want to bake a cake go for it.

If you don’t want to participate in the Food and Beverage Plan, there is the local food Pantry that is open 9-6 daily. The pantry has pretty much anything you could want. Feel free to shop and store stuff in a private fridge. The Food and Beverage Plan is a great deal as we get supplies off the island, in bulk and the price can’t be beaten!

Is there good Wi-Fi internet and how do I access it?

We have the best internet on the island with our own dedicated channel. We supply high power Wi-Fi service to most of the east end of the island.

The access code is: 631-597-6055

What are the restaurant options that you suggest?
  • Pines Bistro Upscale Italian fare. Dinner, daily from 6pm-11:00pm (closed Tuesdays).
  • Pines Pizza– Economical Italian fare like: sandwiches and pizza!
  • Canteen Casual dining on the bay serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Monday-Thursday: 7am-9pm, Friday-Sunday: 7am-11pm
I see you have a Sheba Inu dog, so can I bring my pet?

Sorry, no additional pets allowed. We have a dog, Izabella, and she is very friendly. As much as we love your furry friends (believe us we do!), we cannot accommodate any other pets on the premises.
